Hi, I’m Carlinne

I’m a pre-licensed psychotherapist in the state of Vermont with a Master’s in Social Work, passionate about supporting women in achieving balance, healing, and wellness in their lives. I specialize in working with individuals who identify as women, focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions.

My background in social work deeply informs my approach. I bring a social justice lens to therapy, recognizing how systemic and societal structures impact mental health. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported—where their lived experiences are honored and understood.

Grounded in compassion and empathy, my style is collaborative, curious, and client-centered. I use a strengths-based, humanistic approach to help clients navigate difficulties, reconnect with their resilience, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. My goal is to empower you to make lasting, meaningful changes in your life.

Anxiety

Anxiety can show up as racing thoughts, constant worry, tension in the body, and difficulty concentrating or sleeping. It can feel overwhelming and all-consuming. I help clients understand and manage anxious thoughts and feelings by building effective coping strategies and addressing the root causes of anxiety. Through this process, clients can feel more grounded and supported in focusing on what is within their control, with greater clarity, confidence, and self-trust.

Depression

Depression can show up at different points in our lives and may affect how we think, feel, and function. It can impact motivation, relationships, and overall well-being. I support clients in exploring the emotional weight of depression, reconnecting with their strengths, and developing skills to move forward. Stress Management

I help clients identify stressors, develop practical tools to reduce tension, and build strategies for managing stress in a healthier, more sustainable way. With these tools, clients can cultivate a greater sense of balance and well-being.

Life Transitions/Adjustments

Major life changes, such as starting a new job, ending a relationship, becoming a parent, or relocating can bring about feelings of uncertainty and stress. I support clients in navigating these transitions, helping them gain perspective, adjust to new circumstances, and celebrate fresh beginnings. With time, clients can develop a renewed sense of direction and confidence as they move forward through change 

Self-Esteem
